Background

Dr. Lori Eberly is the Program Director of the undergraduate Health Sciences program and a faculty member in Health Care Management. Before coming to App State, she served as program assistant for the Health Administration program at UNC-Charlotte while completing her PhD. Dr. Eberly has more than 20 years of practical experience in health administration, focused on long-term and community-based care for older adults. She frequently consults in management, finance, strategic planning, human resources and marketing for small businesses in the senior care industry. 

Dr. Eberly’s research interests are: long-term care accessibility, unmet health care needs for middle-class older adults and autonomy in long-term care decision-making.
