Background

Joonghee Lee is an assistant professor in the Department of Nutrition and Health Care Management in the Beaver College of Health Sciences at Appalachian State University. He holds a doctorate in Business Administration with concentration on Information Systems. Prior to this, he worked as an assistant manager of the Information Strategy Team in Cheil Industries Inc. in South Korea. There, he was responsible for managing IT infrastructure, IS planning, training employees in the use of the data warehouse, and acting as liaison between company’s departments and external IT consultants. Dr. Lee’s research explores the economic and social impacts of information technology and the application of analytics in business and healthcare. His research has been published in Information Resource Management Journal, Knowledge and Process Management, International Journal of International Journal of Physical Distribution and Logistics Management.
